Course Images Reference: Layouts, Pace Changes, and Traps
The Course Images tool highlights key segments: straights, corners, uphills, and downhills. Use it to map skills and pick strategies that actually fit.
1) What to Look For
- Corner density: More corners → more value for cornering/position skills.
- Final straight length: Longer final → late accel and stamina matter more.
- Uphill timing: Early uphills punish greedy speed starts without stamina.
2) Strategy Matching
- Runner: Favors early speed and sustained pace on simpler courses.
- Leader: Balanced coverage; loves medium corner courses.
- Betweener/Chaser: Strong where late straights/corners allow safe climb.
3) Build Implications
Pick skills that proc where they matter. Then validate in the Race Simulator and refine with the Build Planner.
Tip: If your sim logs show mid-phase losses on a corner-heavy course, add one more consistent corner trigger and retest.
